Beverley Walkden is the owner of Steele Public Relations Limited, also trading as Steele Recruitment. She has a 10-year working history with high-level public sector clients, including Government, MPs, House of Lords, Councils, the NHS, Universities. Before this she was a print and television journalist for seven years with the Manchester Evening News, rising to news programme producer before a break to have a family. Just eighteen months ago, following four years as an independent communications consultant, she set up Steele Public Relations Limited and more recently Steele Recruitment. On the PR side, she has worked with London Councils and Universities to lead teams, drive campaigns and raise reputation and profile, using her honed media and leadership skills. Steele Public Relations Limited offers strong Events Management, Marketing and Social Media support services too.
